“The Mopar Drag City Tournament”
Official Rules

This is a contest (a game of skill), and open to legal U.S. residents who, at the time of entering, are age 13 or older.

No Purchase is Necessary to Enter or to Win a Prize.

There are 2 components to this competition. There are 7 weekly qualifying races, which begin on April 12th, 2004 and end on May 28th, 2004. The Grand Champion Tournament, which includes the top performers from the 7 qualifying races, starts on May 31st, 2004 and ends on June 4th, 2004.

Each weekly contest period begins on the Monday of each week at 12:00 A.M Pacific Daylight Time. Each weekly contest period ends at Sunday at 6:00 P.M Pacific Daylight Time except where noted. The game may be down for maintenance every Sunday from 6:00:00 P.M to 11:59:59 P.M. The game server will act as the official clock for this tournament.

Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of the Sponsor (DaimlerChrysler), Choice Internet, affiliated companies and/or subsidiaries, as well as vendors, sales agents, and advertising/promotion agencies of the Sponsor and/or their affiliates, and any and all other companies or individuals directly associated with this game, are not eligible to participate.

How to Play. You may sign up for the competition for free by registering on the Mopar-sponsored website www.mopartourney.com. At that time the player may select a Dodge vehicle of their choice, (as well as a class level) and run three “heads up” races. Upon completion of the three races, the player’s run times will be averaged and his/her ranking will be shown indicating their standing in that selected class. The player may run an additional three races with that same vehicle or select a new vehicle and class level for the next set of races. A player may make as many runs as desired to try to improve his or her standing within a vehicle class.

Winning. At the end of each set of weekly qualifying races, the fastest three competitors for each vehicle class level will be identified and selected to receive a Mopar Drag City Jacket.

A player’s time is determined by adding their quarter mile racing time and their reaction time. The lowest (fastest) time wins. In the event of a tie, the average reaction time will be used to determine the winner. The player with the lowest reaction time will be selected as the winner. If the reaction times are the same, the player with the fastest average trap speed (measured in Miles Per Hour) will be selected as the winner.

If a player launches before the green light, the player has “fouled” his or her turn. A .500 reaction time is considered a “perfect” reaction time; a reaction time lower than .500 is considered a “foul”.

At the end of the 7 qualifying races, an overall “Drivers Cup” winner will be chosen for each vehicle and awarded a prize. Each Driver’s Cup winner is determined by taking the lowest average elapsed quarter mile time and reaction time.

At the conclusion of the 7 qualifying competition, the top three winners in each class will be invited to participate in the Grand Champion Tournament. Also, the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth placed racers in each class not selected to participate in the finals on a podium-finish basis, will be selected to participate as wildcards.

Qualifying Tournament Prizes. Each week the top racer for each vehicle/class will receive a Mopar logoed jacket, which has an Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of $65.

Drivers Cup Prizes. The top racer for each vehicle will receive a Pioneer Electronics car stereo CD player, having an ARV of $450.

Grand Champion Tournament Prizes. The top racer from each vehicle/class will receive an Apple iPod Mini music player and a $50 iTunes song gift certificate, having a combined ARV of $299.99.

Total amount of Tournament prizes that will be awarded is $13,575.00

Players may only win once during the qualifying races as well as during the Grand Champion Tournament. If a player wins in more than one class, the class in which the player had the highest margin of victory will be selected as his or her winning class, and the next best player in the other class will be selected as the winner of that class. In the case of a tie, the winner will be selected based on best reaction time and/or highest trap speed.

Awarding Prizes. Names of all winners will be posted on the Mopar website at the end of the qualifying runs, and at the end of the Grand Champion Tournament.

Winners will have 5 (five) business days within which to respond to claim their prize. If a winner does not claim their prize with the 5-day time period, the prize will then be awarded to the first runner-up, or not at all, at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

Prizes will be shipped to the address given on the individual entrants sign-in entry form. Prizes cannot be shipped to PO Boxes. Submission of invalid, incomplete, or undeliverable addresses will result in disqualification.

Please allow 4-6 weeks for prize delivery.
